To build the package by hand, save these as index.html and imsmanifest.xml in one folder, then zip the two files (not the folder).
Add the package to your LMS
- Canvas: SCORM needs the SCORM tool turned on by your Canvas admin. Then open SCORM in course navigation, upload the .zip, and choose whether to grade it as an assignment.
- Brightspace (D2L): in Content, use Upload / Create to add the .zip. Brightspace imports it as a SCORM object, and you can link it to a grade item.
- Moodle: Add an activity › SCORM package, upload the .zip and set the grading method.
- Test first: a free SCORM Cloud account (rusticisoftware.com) shows exactly what the package reports before learners see it.
Add it to your LMS
- Canvas: upload the file in Files, then link to it from a page or module. To show it inline, embed it in a page with an iframe pointing at the file’s preview URL.
- Brightspace (D2L): in Content, choose Upload / Create › Upload Files and select the .html file. It opens as its own topic.
- Moodle, Blackboard and others: add it as a File resource and set it to display embedded or in a new window.
